Now then, this is another one that takes me back to the first ever disco that I attended outside the safety of my senior school. The Brockhouse Disco, phew what a jolly good time we had there, I so remember the clubs layout like it was yesterday. I can remember the three card brag being played on the small circular tables that went around the edge of the adjoining snooker room. The Brockhouse Disco was a long awaited event, it might be that I occasionally had a pint of Mild, which incidentally was just over twenty pence a pint, those were the day eh!
Brockhouse was huge drop forge works locally and as a matter of fact still is, however gone are the days when companies build social clubs within their building.
Me and baby Brother was released in 1973, don't think I was going there then it must of still being played a disco's a few years later
A classic or what?
